Based in Cornwall, Crispin Geoghegan uses a large format camera to create his very large subtle studies of landscapes and flowers, His original photographic studies will make subtle detailed prints up to 2 metres wide. He specialises in making studies in moody, changing weather but also works on large format flower studies during the Summer months.  His work has been published widely and has featured in a number of solo exhibitions. The photographic work is influenced by early studies in goldsmithing, oil painting and geology all of which led to a fascination with shape, colour and texture in nature. The photographic style was also influenced by making close up photographs onto very large format glass plates.

The large format work features in a number of collections round the world and is often displayed in large lounges, reception areas, exhibitions and meeting rooms.
